Multimedia Master is a 24 months career program spread over IV Semesters. Multimedia Standard is a 18 Months career program, spread over III Sem. This is a highly focused and in-depth training structure to prepare students for careers in various concentrations within the specialization of digital multimedia. This is also a semi-versatile course covering the Graphic Design, Web Design, and Audio/Video Editing too. Don't compare this program with Multimedia Master because Multimedia Master is a 24 Months, four semester program covering all the aspects of Multimedia Standard with additional advanced animation techniques. The aim of Multimedia Master program is to teach highly advanced film making and animation concepts with advertising designing. Multimedia Standard is a highly accepted program by ad agencies, publishing houses, news channels, and all video and audio editing studios.

Compressor
Compressor is used for encoding MPEG-1, MPEG-2 for DVD, QuickTime .mov, MPEG-4 (Simple Profile), MPEG-4 H.264 and optional (third Party and often commercial) QuickTime Exporter Components to export to Windows Media, for example. Among its other features is the ability to convert from NTSC to PAL and vice versa and the ability to 'up-convert' from Standard Definition video to High Definition video with feature detail detection to prevent serious quality losses.
Compressor is mainly used to encode Final Cut Pro projects into the necessary DVD MPEG-2 format. Filters can be applied to video during the conversion process, and the video can be cropped.

Collaborative Project
Students will have to work with client side projects/ live projects and will have a degree of flexibility in choosing the orientation of their project. Students will work as a team and will be jointly responsible for the planning, conduct and outcome of the project, under the supervision of a member of staff acting as a guide. The project will be a significantly-sized production, with the objective of producing an output reflecting a real world need, together with accompanying documentation.
Learning Methodology:
* Implementation would be based on instructional design principles
* Classroom exercises, quizzes, and home assignments
* Continuous evaluation and feedback during the training
* Student has to pass through a very strong assessment system: Project Training,
* Practical Test, Theoretical Test, and a discussion (Viva)
